2nd Model Jungle Fatigue Jacket, circa 1965 lot.
It is a piece with details with a high degree of perfection, typical of the 2nd Model used in the middle of the Vietnam War. The size is Small-Long, with a generous length, and the balance is suitable for those who have a good physique or those who are conscious of layering.
The 25th Infantry Division (Tropic Lightning) patch has been sewn onto this item, and the U.S. ARMY tape, which appears to be locally made, as well as the insignia, are still in place on the chest. Both are highly likely to have been attached as they were at the time, and have become individuals who strongly feel the background that was actually worn in the Vietnam War period.
The overall appearance of the piece shows signs of use and fading, and in some places, white paint or bond-like stains can be seen. It is not possible to determine whether these stains are from the work and actual battles of the time or from later years, but the fact that they have not been forcibly removed is a point that can be appreciated as a realistic expression of age.
It is a very atmospheric piece that combines details specific to the 2nd Model, patches of actual combat units, and locally made elements, and is a piece that has a sense of presence even when worn, not to mention for collection purposes.
The condition of this item is pre-owned. Please consider this item with an understanding of its use, stains, and faded color.
Please note that we do not accept returns for used items. Please understand.
