We have a very rare Tiger Stripe in stock! Introducing the First Model shirt, classified as one of the earliest Tiger Stripe camouflages used by the South Vietnamese Marine Corps. This is one of those very valuable shirts with a Taylor label and a unique cut similar to the M59 shape. It is a very valuable item that is also large in size.

The Tiger Stripe was originally based on the TAP 47/52 pattern lizard camouflage used by the French Army, but it is assumed that it was developed by a southern military organization after the withdrawal of the French at that time. Among them, the first model Tiger Stripe shirt of the South Vietnamese Marine Corps, which was used from the late 1950s near the beginning of its development, is very valuable and the number of existing shirts is very few. There is no QM stamp, etc., as it was made by Taylor. The fabric is definitely VNMC 1st Model, but there are a few unknowns.

The shirt is made of a slightly thicker cotton twill material. The pattern has the characteristics of the various tiger stripes that appeared later, with very nice detailing. A great historical piece of tiger stripes. There are some tears and stains, please check the photos. There are some small holes on the back and collar, so it is not in perfect condition. It is in reasonable condition. It is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
