Signed in 1983, this is an authentic U.S. military 6-color desert camouflage jacket. Commonly known as “Chocolate Chip Camouflage,” it is a quintessential example of U.S. military desert camouflage.

The 6-Color Desert is a highly distinctive camouflage pattern featuring a tan/brown base with small, rock-like black and white patterns scattered throughout. It has a striking look that is completely different from the later 3-Color Desert, and today it boasts an outstanding presence not only as military wear but also as a fashion item.
According to the inner label, this item is DLA100-83-C-0574, from a 1983 contract. The supplier is SELMA APPAREL CORPORATION. The material is 50% COTTON / 50% NYLON, and the size is MEDIUM-REGULAR, with the size clearly marked.
The front features four large pockets with flaps. The combination of the rugged construction of a fatigue jacket—originally designed for combat—and the bold camouflage pattern unique to 6C Desert creates an overwhelming presence even when worn on its own.
