The M-65 Parka, the U.S. military's masterpiece of extreme cold weather outerwear, is now available in miraculous condition!
This is an extremely hard-to-find full set of three actual items (shell, liner, and hood). This is a gem of a set of three items (shell, liner, and hood) that are extremely hard to find, and are in near-unused, superlative condition overall.
The parka shell was made in 1973 (DSA100-73-C-0368) and the contractor is WYNN INDUSTRIES, INC. The inner quilted liner was also made in the same year (WINFIELD MFG. CO., INC.) and is designed for extremely cold climates with outstanding heat retention. In addition, the hood is made in 1983 (by PROPPER INTERNATIONAL) with synthetic fur, providing both protection from the cold and visual impact.
The M-65 Parka is a legendary outerwear used from the late Vietnam War through the 1980s. As the name "fishtail " suggests, the back hem extends long like a fish tail, and its functional design repels rain and snow. The front is double-layered with a zipper and winged buttons, and the waist and hem are equipped with drawcords. It is designed to prevent wind from entering and ensure that body heat is retained even in extremely cold environments.
The MEDIUM-REGULAR size is the most versatile and is highly popular as an oversized style in the modern fashion scene. Functional beauty filled with the seriousness of the military, and a silhouette that is also perfected as a design. It is rare to find such a perfect set of M-65 parkas, including those in good condition. This is truly a piece of outerwear that we can confidently recommend for a lifetime of use.
