This is a beogum camouflage survival vest, or medic vest, manufactured in the 1960s and worn by U.S. Air Force pararescue and helicopter pilots. A photo exists of Congressional Medal of Honor recipient Bill 'Pits' Pitsenbarger wearing a similar vest. This vest was not released by Mr Pitsenbarger. It is assumed that it was probably made in Okinawa.

The vest is in almost unused condition with no signs of use. The zippers are all YKK, the fabric is a slightly different color of veogam camouflage, and there are pockets inside and outside for various items. The vests were used by soldiers who were in charge of carrying wounded soldiers to hospitals after treating them, such as para-rescue teams. The left and right sides can be adjusted by straps. The left side is fastened in two places with straps and is adjusted to make it easier to reach any pouches. Vests in tiger stripes are very rare, but a veogam camouflage set-up like this is even rarer. If you are looking for one, how about this opportunity? Because it is a used item, it cannot be returned. Please understand.
