These U.S. Navy deck pants have been in use since the 1940s. Army button specification. These pants are waterproof and were designed to be used for work on decks with strong wave splash and as rain gear for landing parties. They were also used by the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, although some of the materials used were different, as the region was subject to heavy rainfall. They were worn under deck jackets with suspenders, but were also worn by themselves.

Although these pants are made of waterproof fabric, they are made of rubberized material, which has deteriorated in some places. Please be careful when wearing these pants as they are slightly hardened in some areas. It is assumed that the pants have only been used a few times. The waterproofing capacity has been reduced by half, and those who intend to use it for waterproofing purposes should be sure to perform maintenance after use. It will harden and deteriorate quickly. This is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
