Keep your "identity" outside the battlefield--
This is a Giusti flight jacket that is believed to have been privately procured by a U.S. Army soldier while stationed in Italy from World War II through the 1950s. The label reads "Giusti ROMA PIAZZA TREVI," indicating that it was tailored at a famous store in Rome.

The refined details and soft tailoring combine elegance and practicality unique to the European military, which cannot be found in the U.S. government-issued jackets of the time. It is a jacket that is distinctly different from the rugged jackets of government-issued items, and one can imagine soldiers using it as a favorite for vacations or for personal wear.

The design is reminiscent of the U.S. Army's M-41 jacket and the Air Force's A-2, but tailored in a unique, sublimated style. The soft raglan sleeve-style shoulders, large collar, epaulettes, ribbed sleeves and hem, and other details create a high-dimensional fusion of practicality and fashion.

It is in very good condition, with some signs of use, but major details such as zippers and ribs are still functional and can still be worn as a practical vintage garment.

This is a rare gem, **"Made in Italy by American soldiers in Europe "**, which is rarely seen nowadays. This is a must have for vintage military collectors as well as for those who want to add a little depth to their American casual wear.

This is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand that it is a pre-owned item and cannot be returned.
