This is a USMC locally made Duck Hunter utility hat made of civilian fabric.

We are unable to determine the age of the hat, so we are not sure if it is an actual wartime or postwar reproduction; it looks very similar to a Hong Kong-made Duck Hunter fabric that was circulating in the 1970s, so we are guessing it is probably from the mid-1970s. The USMC Floating Anchor stencil is stamped on the fabric, but it is fading away. It has a very nice feel to it and would be a great everyday item as well as a reproduction item. Because it is a used item, it cannot be returned. Please understand.
